I was a fan of Roy Buchanan from the 70s until the 90s. I feel bad saying it, but I just got so tired of his same style, albeit awesome, slapped on every track. The pinch harmonics w/ palm muting just got played out. Why I feel extra bad is that I wonder if he was tired of it too, but didn't know where to go musically. He tried singing (talking) but he never created any compelling songs nor rhythm. Sad ending. Wish I could have been friends with him and helped to keep his spirits up.
